Marrekesh

Jake Walker is in Marrakesh for a few days listening to local artists and looking at ways of bringing the best of Berber traditional music to a wider audience. It's fair to say that only a few of the Berber musicians have come to international attention. Najat Aatabou and the Master Musicians of Jajouka are perhaps the best known.

Following a visit to Fez Jake wanted to see if this traditional music has a place in the Says Who Music family. There are wonderful musicians working in both Fez and Marrakesh and we hope to be able to bring you some exciting developments soon.
